Sustainable Development Goals Curriculum Suite

PAAC developed free lesson plans on various global issues and their relevance to Hawai'i. Each lesson relates to one or more of the 17 U.N. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and includes a curated list of articles or videos, a short kahoot quiz to test comprehension, discussion questions, ideas for action, and more. These were designed to be easily adaptable for PAAC club meetings or classroom situations, but they also serve as an excellent teacher resource for lesson planning. These lessons have three formats: PDF, Canva Slides, and Google Classroom

Country themed lessons

Check out our new country-themed lessons using Canva! The country of study is related to our Study Tour destinations. This new format builds excitement for travel and allows advisors to step back and let students lead their club’s learning.

PAAC UN SDG Google Classroom

In 2022, with the support of our outstanding Teach for America Fellow, Aly Decolati, we took our favorite lessons, updated them, and refreshed how students engage with the materials.
